H3460 Marine grip tape is the first marine specific products Heskins has produced. This material has been tailor-made to be used on open water and endure the rough and calms waters boats have to face day in and day out.
Marine grip tape can be used on anything from competitive boats, commercial vessels or pleasure crafts. Due to the number of boats, yachts, and vessels this tape can be used on, we put in a large amount of development to make a 100% salt resistant boat grip tape. We felt this was a necessary feature for this material to have, as without this feature, the material may begin to lift or degrade due to the high salt content in the open seas.
By guaranteeing this material is 100% resistant to salt, we can be sure that when applying Marine anti slip tape to a clean and dry surface, this material should cure to the surface well, and create a great boat grip tape, lasting for a long amount of time. If you want to ensure a prolonged life span of your material, it is a good idea to enquire about our application accessories, these products can help to prolong the life span of the material, and make the initial application stronger.
Please note: Marine Grade anti slip tape cannot be applied underwater, but can be submerged once it has been applied to a surface and has had time to cure.
Application Instructions
- Testing of adhesion to surface should be done before installation.
- Do not apply when surface temperature is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Fill in cracks, seal porous surfaces and repair to a smooth finish, as required, avoid application to grout areas.
- Always apply to clean, dry, wax and oil-free surface. Allow ample time for drying.
- Peel off protective release paper.
- Press tape to prepared surface. Bond is increased by using a rubber hand roller.
- Ready for immediate use, no need to wait.
- Keep tape clean. Use mild floor cleaners as directed.
- Application to porous surfaces in not recommended.

Prior to the application of any product, buyers must contact us to initiate a return within 14 days of receiving an item. On any returned item, Safe Way Traction will refund the cost of the item minus shipping and handling charges. Up to a 20 % restocking may apply.
